 - we list this unique new model in both our soft shell & hard shell categories! Technically a soft shell, but with setup & pack up times near those of hard shell roof tents! And an ultra low profile in transit to rival a slim hard shell roof tent.
 
This all new model opens automatically & instantly, using the type of twin gas struts normally found on hard shell roof tents.

The perfect tent to just throw on your vehicle when you're ready for a getaway. So light two average strength people can lift it!
 
Many garage doors are too low for a vehicle with roof tent to enter, and not everyone needs or wants a roof tent on their vehicle full time. 
 
At this weight the Galaxy can safely be mounted on cars & SUV's that couldn't otherwise handle a heavier roof tent.
 
Much higher quality of materials and mattress! As with all EEZI-AWN roof tents the materials are class leading. The Galaxy is made with the same Teflon coated 260gsm core spun polycotton that has for years been used on the Blade & Jazz roof tents, and on EEZI-AWN awnings. A globally proven, exceptionally high quality canvas. 
 
The SABS approved 70mm mattress offers comfort in a class of it's own in NZ.
 
The tent fly is made from UV stable, reinforced PVC.
 
Much lower profile on vehicle roof in transit - similar to a slim hard shell. EEZI-AWN tents have always offered class leading profile in transit, but the Galaxy takes it a step further.
 
Rapid mounting/unmounting on vehicle
The base on the Galaxy is uniquely made with componentry shared with EEZI-AWN K9 expedition grade roof racks. The Galaxy rapidly mounts onto most brands of load bars and comes complete with needed brackets.
